We are pleased to share that Assistant Professor Zehui Xiong has won the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc) – Communication Systems Integration and Modelling (CSIM) Technical Committee Best Journal Paper Award (https://csim.committees.comsoc.org/awards/).
IEEE CSIM Technical Committee (TC) in ComSoc is concerned with the systems disciplines and modeling tools that facilitate the integration of information-transport equipment, subsystems, and networks into communications systems. In this framework, the committee specifically addresses computer-aided modeling of integrated subsystems to answer architectural and performance questions. CSIM TC delivers Conference Best Paper Award and a Journal Best Paper Award annually. The former is awarded to a conference paper (the paper has to be published in a ComSoc-sponsored conference but must not be ICC or Globecom CQRM symposiums) whereas the latter is awarded to an article in a ComSoc journal. In the evaluation of the awards, the committee considers originality, technical relevance to CSIM TC scope, quality and timeliness for each nominated paper. Only 2 journal papers are selected by the award committee for the Best Journal Paper Award in 2021.
